How to Get Away With Murder

-The characters are in law school, which of course, makes them old enough to do those things that always appear in high school dramas. The fact that when they drink they are actually of legal age, makes this show better than the ones in which characters are underage.
-There is ACTUAL diversity. The thing that annoys me most about basic TV Shows is that they throw in one African-American character, a gay best friend and call it a day. In this show, the main characters are super diverse! There are even latinos and asias and I appreciate that. Plus, the main character, played by the amazing Viola Davis, is bisexual, which isn't a common thing in most shows. Also, one of the other main characters, is openly gay and in a cute relationship with an adorable guy, which he even gets married to. The thing I admired most about this TV Show, though, is that in an episode from Season 2, I think, I can't recall exactly which one, people even talk about transphobia, and the main character, a lawyer, defends a transsexual woman in court.
-There are a few heart-breaking plot twists, but even those are incredibly exciting. These OMG moments have you holding your breath. This show also teaches us that in the real life, good people don't always win, and that good people can sometimes make poor choices, while giving us a happy ending.
-Even though I love Connor and Oliver together, I usually hate it when a show focuses on relationships and not the plot. But the fact is, that while the characters struggle to get away with what they have done, they become friends, find their soulmates and learn more about life in general. Also, I love it how, while trying to make sure they don't get arrested and getting close to the others involved, the characters grow as individials.
Sorry for the rant, but please do check out this awesome show! The storyline is amazing. I don't think I've ever found a show that kept me interested even in the last season.
